The short version: we collect what you give us so we can plan your placement and reply to you. We do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Tell us your UTA track and where you live. A placement advisor replies with what a UTA-ready preceptor and site look like for you.
What we collect
- What you type into a form: your name, email, phone number, UTA program, when your clinicals start, your city and state, and any message.
- Chat messages: everything you send to the placement desk and our replies, so the conversation can continue where it left off.
- A visitor ID in your browser: the chat stores a random ID in your browser's local storage so a returning visit reconnects to the same conversation. It is not an advertising cookie.
- Page visits: which page of this site you are on while the chat is open, so the desk knows what you were reading when you asked.
- Visitor identification: this site runs a marketing partner's script that may recognize a returning visitor and match the visit to an email address already held in that partner's network, so we can follow up about clinical placement.
- Email sign-ups: the email you give for placement tips.
How we use it
- To reply to you and plan your placement: which preceptor, which site, which paperwork your UTA course needs.
- To contact you by email, phone call or text message about the request you sent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- To send occasional emails about UTA clinical placement. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To share the details a preceptor or clinical site needs to consider you, only once you have asked us to go ahead with a match.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising networks.
Who else handles it
Service providers that host this site, run the chat and send messages process your details for us under their own security terms. Preceptors and clinical sites see only what is needed to arrange your placement, and only after you ask us to proceed. Our visitor-identification partner processes visit data under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep request and chat records while your placement is being planned or delivered, and for a reasonable period afterwards for records and follow-up. Ask us and we will delete them sooner, unless we must keep something to meet a legal duty.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Stop texts at any time by replying STOP, or tell the placement desk you no longer want to be contacted.
Send any privacy request through the contact form or the chat. We confirm who you are before we act on it.
Students under 18
This site is for nursing students enrolled in college programs. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
